Pressgang has wide experience of publishing in languages other than English. Its annual report for car company MG Rover was translated from English into six languages, requiring the design to be flexible enough to accommodate the wide variety in copy lengths resulting from the different languages. German was the longest – working at 1.5 times longer than English.

All publications need an editor to set the style, tone, direction and standards. We have experienced editors of staff and consumer publications who will do the job for you or work with – and, if required, train – your own in-house teams.

Pressgang’s experienced editors, most with extensive local and national newspaper experience, are well-versed in understanding clients’ needs, recruiting a team (where necessary) to meet those requirements and working in close contact with clients to ensure all work is directed towards clear goals.

The editor’s role will include:
Close liaison with clients (ie sitting on editorial boards/communications teams)
Briefing writers, photographers and designers
Headline writing, proof reading, content planning
Forward planning and strategic decision-making.
